First it is important to know what you are looking for. Gendex GXS-700 calibration files are named as follows:
- 012345678_dark.flf
- 012345678_dfm.dfm
- 012345678_flat.flf

**Note: 012345678 in the file names above will reflect the serial number of your sensor. If you have multiple Gendex GXS-700 sensors in your office be sure that the file names you are sending to Sodium Dental have the correct serial number in the file name. The serial number should match the sensor that you have in for your Gendex GXS-700 sensor repair.
The three file names above are what we are looking for and are what Sodium Dental x-ray repair technicians need in order to properly test your Gendex GXS-700 x-ray sensor repair.
Using the original Disc (CD) to email the Gendex GXS-700 calibration files:
- Insert disc into workstation
- Press the 'Start' button or Windows logo button in the bottom left hand corner of the Windows toolbar
- Click on 'My Computer' (or 'Computer' if running Windows 7 and above)
- Double click on your disc drive to view the Gendex GXS-700 calibration files
- Verify the serial number in the calibration files matches the Gendex GXS-700 sensor you have in for repair
- With your mouse: click, drag, and highlight all three of the Gendex GXS-700 calibration files
- Open a new email in your email program
- Click and drag the Gendex GXS-700 calibration files over to your new email
- Send this email to [email protected]
- That's it!

**Note: In order for this to work it is important that you are on a computer that has had the Gendex GXS-700 sensor installed.
- Click the 'Start' button in the bottom left hand corner of the Windows toolbar
- Click on 'My Computer' (or 'Computer' if on a Windows 7 or newer computer)
- Double click on the C: drive
- In the C: drive look for the 'Gendex' folder and double click it with your mouse to open. If there is not a 'Gendex' folder then double click on the 'Program Files' folder and you'll see the 'Gendex' folder
- Once inside the 'Gendex' folder, double click on the 'GXS700_CorrectionFiles' folder
- You should now see your calibration files in the 'GXS700_CorrectionFiles' folder
- With your mouse: click, drag, and highlight all three of the Gendex GXS-700 calibration files
- Open a new email in your email program
- Click and drag the Gendex GXS-700 calibration files over to your new email
